Hello! We are Erin and Adam Aspaas, and our dog, Kirby. Both of us are physical therapists who love to help people, travel, and eat. Fortunate for us, we are able to work as traveling physical therapists! This allows us to go across the country and work for a few months at a time, as well as getting to explore a lot of new places. We started this to document and share our experiences, good and bad. Our goal is to grow the physical therapy profession, educate and inspire others, learn a few things along the way, and be able to share our adventures
We met at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston while going to PT school. What started out as just roommates. eventually turned into us dating (despite everyone saying it was a bad idea). Fast forward to May 7, 2021 in Cancun, Mexico.
Our PT careers started in Houston, TX working in outpatient clinics. The professors/mentors we were lucky enough to have worked with inspired us to pursue a fellowship in orthopedic and manual physical therapy. 3 years, and a lot of stress, later we finished our training and decided to leave Houston to start our travel PT journey.
Now we are just a couple of traveling PTs…
